Augustine Lujan
Heavily focused on people and all things progressive, I am a Small Business Consultant who enjoys helping organizations achieve what they value the most – growth, a preservable reputation, and sustainable success. As a professional specializing in accentuating the nonprofit, community, and military, I bring an extensive operational improvement background. This includes DEI, cross-functional leadership development, and the art of inspiring healthy mindset transformations that enable others to unlock the best versions of themselves. Even more, I take pride in leveraging that blended acumen to not just position businesses and the community alike for new levels of scalability but do so, all while ensuring everyone involved feels confident as they propel forward as both individuals and professionals.
Growing up in Southern California, I learned the innate value of accentuating human rights and equality early on. Part of that stems from being a minority myself and part from witnessing firsthand how powerful it was at instilling positive community reform on a grander scale. With this as my base, it became the catalyst for me to take that same mindset with me to the US Navy after high school graduation. During this time, I had the pleasure of consulting with military members transitioning out so they could excel as civilians, built incredible friendships, and met my now-wife. Upon honorable discharge, I then worked different jobs and concurrently completed my Master’s degree in Administration of Justice. This was a particularly high accomplishment, as I was in special education through middle and high school.
Fast forward, I bridged my higher education, Navy values, and entrepreneurial spirit to open a security guard and private investigation company. For the next 6+ years, I successfully managed the front and backend organizational processes and ensured the workplace environment was as positive as it was productive. Later selling the brand for profit, I began working as a Department Of Defense employee while returning to school to attain my MBA. Taking that with me as a Construction Superintendent and developing MultiWise Consulting, I have since intertwined those experiences to help others raise the bar for their businesses and their teams and ensure a profitable path forward. In addition, prove that anyone can succeed with the proper internal support, healthy baseline shifts, accountability, and encouraging motivation.
As a Consultant fueled by helping others succeed, nothing makes me happier than translating bottom-up business initiatives into tangible realities and ultimately delivering those who work with me the fundamental support they deserve to excel. From unique business goal setting/planning and team coaching to ‘beyond the surface’ growth insights, I am passionate about educating others to lead themselves. Furthermore, demonstrate that by not just being a consultant but also a mentor and friend along the way – all with the goal of empowering you with actionable steps and bridging perceptions that secure high-performing futures. Because in the end, every ambitious leader/team has what it takes to exceed their expectations with the right mindset and operational guidance, and sometimes all it takes is connecting with someone who values the trajectory of your successes just as much as you do to finally begin capitalizing on that.
I constantly remain updated on transient business trends and growth innovations to ensure my clients are always ten steps ahead. In addition, human rights and equality is a key prioritization in every effort I make. I firmly believe that supporting the push for productive futures begins by focusing on meaningful progressions here in the present. However, when I am not working, you can usually find me volunteering within the community and supporting different nonprofits that serve the area, staying active, and spending time with my amazing wife of 18 years and our three kids.
